## Fire Alarm Servicing in Uplands: the short answer

BS 5839 recommends fire alarm servicing by a competent person at least every six months for Grade A and commercial systems. In Uplands that covers student HMOs, converted flats and hospitality premises, each of which receives a signed service record and a written remedial report.
